AWS cost reduction: two ways to pay
Pay a fixed fee and keep every dollar saved, or pay nothing up front and share the verified saving for 6 months. How the review works
AWS Cost Review, fixed fee
$1,500fixed fee
You pay a fixed fee, get a ranked list of savings with the exact changes, and keep 100% of what you save.
- Bill and usage analysis across every account and region
- Rightsizing, idle resources, storage tiers and data transfer
- Savings Plans and Reserved Instance coverage checked against real usage
- Each saving priced in dollars a month, with effort and risk
- Your team implements, or we do it from plan hours
AWS Cost Reduction, share of savings
20%of verified savings for 6 months
Nothing up front. We find the savings and make the changes. You pay a share of what you actually save, for a limited period.
- Same review as the fixed-fee option
- We implement every change you approve
- Baseline agreed in writing before we touch anything
- Savings measured monthly in AWS Cost Explorer, shared with you
- No savings, no fee
| Fixed fee | Share of savings | |
|---|---|---|
| Upfront cost | $1,500 | Nothing |
| Who makes the changes | Your team, or us from plan hours | We do, after your approval |
| What you pay | The fixed fee only | 20% of the verified monthly saving for 6 months |
| If little is found | Free if annual savings are under 3x the fee | No savings, no fee |
| AWS spend | Up to $30,000 a month | From $8,000 a month |
| Fee on the example below | $1,500 | $6,000 |
| You keep in the first year | $58,500 | $54,000 |
Example: a $20,000 monthly AWS bill reduced by 25% saves $5,000 a month, $60,000 a year. The percentage is only an example, not a promise; we price the real saving after the review. For the share option, the baseline is your average bill over the last three months, adjusted for usage growth and agreed in writing.

Pricing questions
How much does DevOps as a service cost?
With us, a fixed $1,900 for the assessment, then $2,900, $4,900 or $7,900 a month depending on how many engineering hours and how fast a response you need. Across the market, part-time startup support usually runs a few thousand dollars a month and fully staffed 24/7 coverage costs considerably more, which is why we publish what each plan includes.
Why do you publish your prices?
Because small teams should not have to book three calls to learn whether something is affordable. Publishing the price forces us to define the scope tightly, and it lets you compare us with hiring a DevOps engineer or another provider before you talk to anyone. Larger or unusual work is still quoted, but always against a written scope.
What happens if we need more hours than the plan includes?
We tell you before it happens. If a month needs more work, for example a migration or an audit deadline, we quote the extra work in writing before starting, or you move to the next plan. Unused hours do not roll over, which keeps the monthly price predictable for both sides.
Can we cancel a monthly plan?
Yes. Plans have an initial term of three months, because the first weeks go into learning your setup and fixing the urgent items. After that they run month to month and can be cancelled with thirty days' notice. On exit we hand over documentation, credentials and a summary of open work.
How is the share-of-savings fee verified?
Before any change, we agree a baseline in writing: the average monthly AWS bill for the previous three months, adjusted for usage growth. Each month we compare the bill with that baseline in AWS Cost Explorer and share the report. The fee is 20% of the verified saving for 6 months. If nothing is saved, nothing is invoiced.
Do prices include VAT, and which currency do you invoice in?
Prices are in US dollars and exclude VAT or sales tax where it applies. If you would rather be invoiced in euros or pounds, ask and we will confirm the amount before work starts. Third-party costs such as your AWS bill, compliance platform licences and auditor fees are always paid by you directly.
