Managed DevOps and cloud services for reliable releases
Ship your next release with confidence. A flat monthly plan covers pipelines, infrastructure and production support, so your developers stay on the product.
Overview
Our managed DevOps and cloud services help SaaS businesses, software agencies and growing engineering teams design, migrate and operate environments on AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud. We take on the pipelines, infrastructure and day-to-day operations that slow releases down, so your developers can spend more of their time on the product your customers pay for.
Every engagement starts with an assessment of your current environment. We look at how code reaches production, how infrastructure is defined and how problems are detected, then recommend the right level of complexity for your team. That might be a defined implementation project or ongoing support with agreed coverage, responsibilities and escalation arrangements. Either way, documentation and runbooks keep your team in control.
Who it is for
SaaS businesses
Product teams that need dependable releases and stable production environments without building a full platform team first.
Software agencies
Agencies that deploy and run client applications and want consistent pipelines, hosting and support behind their projects.
Growing engineering teams
Teams whose infrastructure has grown faster than their processes and who need automation, visibility and a clear plan.
What is included
The final scope is agreed in your proposal. These are the areas the service typically covers.
CI/CD pipelines
Automated build, test and deployment pipelines that move code from commit to production in a repeatable, reviewable way.
Infrastructure as Code
Cloud resources defined in version-controlled code, so environments can be reviewed, reproduced and changed safely.
Docker and Kubernetes operations
Containerisation of your applications and day-to-day operation of Kubernetes clusters, including upgrades and configuration.
Linux administration
Configuration, patching and maintenance of the Linux servers your applications and services depend on.
Cloud migration
Planned moves to AWS, Azure or Google Cloud, or between them, with the target environment designed before workloads move.
Monitoring, backups and recovery
Monitoring and logging to spot problems early, plus backups and recovery planning so you know how to restore service.
Pricing
Published prices in US dollars, excluding VAT where it applies. Every option is also on the pricing page.
Essentials
$2,900per month
For a product team with one production environment that needs an engineer who already knows the setup.
- Up to 20 engineering hours a month
- Pipelines, Terraform and cloud changes on request
- Monitoring and alerts on production
- Response by the next business day
- Monthly report: changes, incidents, spend
Growth
$4,900per month
For SaaS teams shipping weekly who want releases, cost and security handled by someone accountable.
- Up to 40 engineering hours a month
- Everything in Essentials
- Production incidents answered within 4 business hours
- Monthly cost review with savings applied
- Quarterly security and backup restore test
Scale
$7,900per month
For teams running Kubernetes or several environments, or preparing for SOC 2 and enterprise customers.
- Up to 80 engineering hours a month
- Everything in Growth
- Production-down incidents answered within 1 hour in support hours
- Kubernetes operations and upgrades
- SOC 2 technical controls kept in shape between audits
Plans run month to month after an initial three months. Unused hours do not roll over. Out-of-hours on-call is available as a separate add-on and quoted to your alerting volume. Not sure which plan fits? Start with the DevOps assessment; its fee is credited against your first month.
How it works
Assess the environment
We review your stack, deployment process and operational pain points before recommending anything.
Agree scope and coverage
We agree a defined project or ongoing support, with coverage, responsibilities and escalation arrangements written down.
Implement and automate
We build or improve pipelines, infrastructure code, containers and monitoring in line with the agreed scope.
Document and operate
We hand over documentation and runbooks, then provide ongoing support if that is part of the agreement.
What you get
Technologies and platforms we typically work with on this service:
Releases that follow an automated, repeatable path from development to production
Infrastructure defined in code that your team can read, review and change
Monitoring, logging, backups and a recovery plan for your production environment
Documentation and runbooks that keep your team in control
Questions about Managed DevOps & Cloud
What do your managed DevOps services cover?
Our managed DevOps services cover CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, Docker and Kubernetes operations, Linux administration, cloud migration, monitoring, logging, backups and recovery planning. We work on AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud. The exact scope depends on your environment and goals, and we assess it before recommending the right level of complexity rather than applying one fixed setup to every team.
Do you offer one-off projects or ongoing support?
Both. You can choose a defined implementation project, such as building a CI/CD pipeline or migrating to a new cloud platform, or ongoing support for your environment. Ongoing support comes with agreed coverage, responsibilities and escalation arrangements, so everyone knows who handles what and how issues are raised. Many teams start with a project and then decide whether ongoing support makes sense.
How much do managed DevOps services cost?
Our managed DevOps plans start at $2,900 a month for up to 20 engineering hours, with Growth at $4,900 and Scale at $7,900 for larger setups. Each plan lists the hours, response times and work included, and runs month to month after the first three months. One-off projects such as a migration or a new Kubernetes platform are quoted to scope after the fixed-price assessment.
What do you need from us to get started?
Send us your stack and your biggest operational challenge. It helps to know which cloud platforms you use, how you currently deploy, what runs in containers or on Linux servers, and where releases or incidents cause the most friction. We will then need authorised access to the relevant environments so we can assess them properly before recommending changes.
Will our team stay in control of the infrastructure?
Yes. We document the work we do and provide runbooks for routine operations and common incidents. Infrastructure is defined in code where it makes sense, so your team can read, review and change it. The goal is to remove bottlenecks between development and production, not to create a dependency on us that your team cannot see into or take over.
Is managed DevOps a good fit for a small team?
It can be. We assess the environment before recommending the right level of complexity, so a small team is not handed tooling it cannot run. If a simpler setup serves you better than Kubernetes or a multi-account architecture, we will say so. Managed DevOps suits teams that want reliable releases without hiring a dedicated platform team, and less so teams that already have one.
